An industry-centric manpower solution
There are literally thousands of recruitment firms in the World who will offer their services to the oil and gas industry, or the energy industry in general. We have seen estimates of anywhere between 5-1000 recruitment firms to work with within the oil and gas business alone. The services and solutions on offer vary massively.

Another one has broken away from their parent company who was laying off staff, and have promised a return to the ‘traditional way’ of recruiting…

As an employer, HR person or rig manager, the recruiters skills at telesales, marketing or persistence are of less importance to you. In fact, if they are really good at these things, they are likely to annoy you!
What good is a recruiter who is good at ‘closing you’ into dealing with them, but who then sends over unsuitable candidates? This simply wastes your time.
A far better fit will be a manpower representative who has actually worked on the type of project that you are recruiting for. Someone who you can briefly explain the project to, and will already know exactly which skills are needed.

About our MD:
- During 8 years serving in the United States Marine Corps special forces anti terrorism units, Eric learned to work under pressure. He brings strength of character, discipline and a problem solving mind to the oil and gas industry.
- Eric has a broad based experience as an international consultant. He has worked for companies such as Oil States International, Repsol, Murphy Oil, Total and Dynamic Drilling where he has collected recommendations and testimonials that anyone would be proud of.
- Eric currently serves on the IADC committee and will be acting as chair at a number of upcoming international conferences.
- Rather than resting on his track record, he continues to educate himself, evidence of this is in his latest academic achievement. Eric now holds a Masters level Post Graduate qualification in Project Management from Robert Gordon University which he just completed and is working towards his MSc.
